Our client is one of leading companies in the frozen food sector in Croatia and the region. In over 30 years of business, they have specialized in the production, processing, storage and distribution of frozen food. Their business-production-storage facility covers an area of 8,500 m² and is located in Konjščina, and employs 180 people. In order to expand their business, they are expanding the team with this position Sales Representative / Commercialist HoReCa (m/f).

Frozen products in the client's own brand, but also in the customers' brands, are produced in a technologically modern production facility, applying the highest standards of food safety and quality. They are positioned on the market as a reliable partner of international retail chains in Croatia, but equally in the EU market and other foreign markets. They are also present in the HoReCa segment as a partner to distributors in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Serbia.

Main responsibilities:

• Business development with existing partners in the HoReCa channel in accordance with the company's sales strategy
• Daily contact and visits to customers according to the agreed workflow and needs
• Regular reporting to the Department Manager on customer visits
• Expanding the customer base through finding and acquiring new customers
• Analysis of traffic with existing and new partners
• Preparing reports and planning activities necessary to increase cooperation with partners
• Preparation of offers, presentations and other sales materials in order to achieve sales results
• Conducting sales negotiations with partners
• Continuous market monitoring, data collection and competition analysis
• Concerns about collecting receivables from assigned partners
• Communication with other departments for the purpose of business optimization
• Other tasks within the scope of the sales department

Required competencies:

• Secondary education/university/high school diploma in economics or related field
• knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Computer skills (primarily MS Office tools)
• driving license category B
• Work experience in related sales jobs is an advantage (FMCG preferred)
• proactive approach to work and strong orientation towards building relationships with partners and achieving sales results
• Knowledge of working in the food industry and frozen products market is an advantage
• communication skills and a tendency towards teamwork
