Our client, a logistics and distribution company that is developing its transport capacities, expanding its team and is therefore looking for Transport Manager (m/f), who wants to take a key role in building a new team, organizing, optimizing and modernizing the entire transport process.

If you have an excellent understanding of transportation operations, experience in working with fleets and optimizing transportation costs, and want to create and lead a new department – this is your opportunity to form a growing transportation team.

What will you do:

- participate in logistics process optimization projects and propose investments in equipment, technology and infrastructure

– plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the transportation and distribution of goods

– manage the fleet, plan and optimize routes for all types of transport

– coordinate the work of drivers and cooperate with and control the work of external transport partners

– monitor and optimize transportation, loading and unloading costs

– monitor the implementation of deliveries and deviations and report on key performance indicators

– ensure compliance of processes with regulations and internal procedures

– participate in the development of price lists for transport and commercial services related to transport

What we are looking for:

– University degree in logistics, transport, technical or organizational field

– very good knowledge of transport processes and working with transport partners

– experience in cost optimization and fleet management

– good knowledge of one foreign language (preferably English); min. B1

- excellent knowledge of the Office package

– strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, business intelligence and high responsibility
